Columbus Day Message from President Frank
Good afternoon SkiVenturers, and happy Columbus Day. There has been a lot of good progress at the club over the last few weeks. If you were not able to volunteer, I have good news. There is still plenty of work to be done, and dates for your calendar.
I spent some time this morning getting our email list in order, and I apologize to those who were out of the loop. I will be taking a little more time this season to do a better job with the admin side.
Here are some dates to save:
10/15, 8:00 – 12:00: Second and final concrete pore for the season. We need lots of hands.
10/21, 9:00 – 4:00: First annual work party, chain sawing, brush cutting, wood chipping, etc. If you have a four wheeler or a 4wd tractor that will help.
10/31 – Membership applications due – we will bring new members off the waiting list on 11/1.
11/11, 9:00 – 4:00: Second annual work party
11/11, 5:00 – 9:00: Annual club meeting and election of officers. If you would like to nominate yourself or anyone else for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please let me know by 10/23.
12/16, 9:00 – 11:00: Hillmaster training – If you are not sure what that is or if it is for you, give me a call.
1/6, 9:00 – 11:00: Hillmaster training
I am so looking forward to another great season.
Frank
